Intensive Early Intervention
This program is based on the Early Start Denver Model. Children are immersed in literacy-based, thematic units that incorporate play skills, gross and fine motor activities, dramatic play, and self-help skills.
Children receive 1:1 and group ABA therapy. Speech Therapy can also be incorporated in their day.

The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is a Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention. It is a comprehensive, play-based intervention that teaches through play, social routines, and daily living routines.
Designed for toddlers as young as 12 months, ESDM makes learning fun while strengthening connections and boosting development.

Each child’s schedule is designed based on his individual needs as well as the needs of their family. Many of the children in our program receive individual therapy for half the day and are in a social skills group for the other half.
We will meet you and your child where they are and find a schedule that works best.

No. We believe that progress is not meaningful unless it is happening at home and in their natural environment. For that reason, most of our children receive therapy in home on Fridays, “generalization days.” Our therapists will come to you and help your child generalize what they’ve learned in the center with our materials to your home with their toys there. During in-home sessions we also focus on personal independence skills like potty training and mealtime.
Additionally, we can design a program that supports your child in home on multiple days. We also support children in nearby preschools and Montessori programs.

Yes—we work with young children, many of whom are still napping. We recognize that this is an important part of their development. We can work a nap time into their program.

Most of our children eat lunch together with their group. During that time we work on setting the table, passing foods to each other at the table, trying new foods (we have a new “community food” each week), and washing our dishes after we’re done. Families send a lunch with their child each day and can make requests for what food we try for the community food.
